First stop of the day, Ngee Ann Polytechnic!
We have Mr Leow Teck Sim, SNCF Campus Sector Chairman, who is also a lecturer in NP. He teaches in the School of Business and Accountancy working with students who are majoring in entrepreneurship subjects. Mr Leow is here to share about Ngee Ann Polytechnic Consumer Co-operative Society, Limited. We’re glad to see that Su Jin is enjoying her time there!
Fact: Ngee Ann Polytechnic Consumer Co-operative Society, Limited (NP Co-op) was founded in 1971 to provide stationaries, school supplies, graduation attire rental etc. The Ngee Ann Shop is established in 2014 to offer merchandises such as apparels and lifestyle products etc. for NP population as well as Alumni members.
Proceeding to the tour at ‘The Ngee Ann Shop’ and ‘NP Co-op retail outlet’
T-shirts, jackets, drawstring bags, nicely designed paper bags, soft toy bears etc.

Moving on, our last stop for the day, Broadrick Secondary School!
Broadrick Secondary School Coop Club functions as an After School Engagement Programme for students who are in the Normal Technical Stream to take up ownership to take charge of the centre while the rest of the students to take part the interest groups!
Students who are interested pay a fee in exchange for a membership card to enjoy the programs/interest groups ASE@Broadrick offer such as:
Sports – Gym, Sepak Takraw, Basketball
Mentoring – Youth worker teach Coop Club students soft skills and how to manage the center
Aesthetics – Drumming, Music & singing, modern dance
Recreational – Game rooms (Pool, soccer table, virtual games etc.)
Technical – Kiosk management, events planning
A rather interesting framework!
