To the younger Singaporeans out there: Do you know that if you are found to be at risk of diabetes, you will be qualified for subsidised health screening? If you are between ages 18 to 39, you are just required to pay at most $5 for a full screening!

The self-assessment test was rolled out on 1st September 2017 and about 15,000 Singaporeans have already checked their diabetes risk.

Have you done yours? It will only take less than 2 minutes of your time, so click here to do the Diabetes Risk Assessment (DRA) now!

FYI: The DRA does not only identify cases earlier, but also help groups who has pre-diabetics who may require more frequent screening.

Facts: 1 in 3 Singaporeans are at risk of developing diabetes and factors such as family history, hypertension (High blood pressure), unhealthy body mass index (BMI) plays a part. Approximately 400,000 Singaporeans have diabetes, but many of them are not aware of it. So make sure you follow up with your clinicians if you are found to be diagnosed with pre-diabetes.
