Is your idea of a better society one where everyone gets access to food, people have equal chances in life or buildings are created to conserve the environment?
These are some goals that the United Nations envisioned, where cities and people pledge to the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
Did you know, co-operatives in Singapore contribute to SDGs as well? Goals such as “Good Health and Well-being”, “Quality Education” and “Decent Work and Economic Growth” are met by various co-ops – for example, Silver Caregivers Co-operative, NTUC LearningHub Co-operative and Seacare Co-operative respectively.
